I am a writer living in Somerset with a passion for recording my observations and experience of life in words. I have a particular interest in the language of the natural world, the local flora and fauna is a constant source of inspiration. Writing is an integral part of my daily life; the creative process and the beauty of language never cease to fascinate!

Bude lies on the northern Cornish coast, and for many years I have escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life to this beautiful and tranquil part of Cornwall. The rugged coastline and beautiful light uplift and inspire me; my little beach hut is a perfect spot to write and observe.

I am a member of 'The Wednesday Writers' and 'The Writer's Studio', both based in Somerset. As groups we offer many different genres, but it is a love of the written word and the power of expression that draw us together. I believe that the support and honest feedback from other writers is essential to the creative process, writing colleagues are invaluable companions on the 'Writer's Journey'.

Teresa is a bee-keeper with two hives of Honey Bees 'Apis mellifera'. Industrious, funny, fascinating, the bees are vital for the pollination and well-being of the plants and trees. In return for their hard work and delicious honey, Teresa has planted the garden to provide pollen, nectar and protection for the bees, butterflies and woodland creatures that have made it their home.
